we next did a two day trip to the medieval town of Rottenburg. it is a truly remarkable place that looks much like it did 6 or 700 years ago. there are also a lot of shops so in a way it is a modern mall in a medieval town. that is neet is you are a girl but only so so if you are the dad. the next day we went over to heidelberg a town famous for it castle known as the schloss. it is a beatuful ruin and here you can get a tour with a hand heald devise that tells you in English about the castle. we had planned to go into town but a thunderstorm came up and rained us out. we now have a good reason to go back to heidelberg.
